Character designs

Been sketching like mad recently, designing a character for a story I can't get out of my head.

These were done in the car on my break

I then moved on to these and tried refining the look. Looking for reference pics, of course you can't help but come across Disney's Ratatouille, but I found these really helpfull.

So, without trying to rip off the Disney look completely,I think I've found my Lead Character, just going to keep redrawing him now (while designing the other farm animals) and make it second nature and see if I can make him evolve into something that looks mine.
